1. white wine是什么？

我们都知道wine是“酒”

所以就以为

white wine是“白酒”

但我们不知道的是

wine表示  an alcoholic drink that is usually made from the juice of grapes ，but also can be made from other plants or fruits.

葡萄酒，果酒

比如

red wine 红葡萄酒

sweet wine 甜葡萄酒

所以 white wine 表示白葡萄酒

I love Australian wines, especially the white wines.

我喜欢澳大利亚葡萄酒，特别是白葡萄酒。

2. 白酒到底怎么说？

“白酒”常见的表达有3种

第一种表达： Chinese spirits

据说是因为“白酒”起源于中国，所以用Chinese，而白酒度数较高，所以用spirit表示

spirit：a strong alcoholic drink (烈性酒），通常用复数。

例句： Avoid hangover with Chinese spirits.

喝白酒要避免宿醉~

hang over  宿醉

第二种表达：white liquor

这里的white是指透明的，不是那种纯白的“白”

white: used in the names of various food and drink products,many of which are not pure white  but slightly cream,yellow,grey, or transparent

liquor和spirit 一样表示烈性酒

所以 white liquor=white spirits 白酒

例句：Do you prefer white liquor or red wine?

你喜欢喝白酒还是红酒？

第三种表达：Baijiu

既然是我们中国发源的, 就直接用拼音

例句： Baijiu is a Chinese alcoholic beverage made from grain.

白酒是中国的酒精饮品，通常使用谷物制作。

beverage /ˈbev.ər.ɪdʒ/  饮料
